Estimating Quantities

Steadfast Building Services have carried out re-measure / quantity take-off work for  international clients in many countries around the world. Drawings and specifications are received by email or post, these are then used to produce detailed quantities which are then returned to the Client in Buildsoft or Excel format along with marked up and annotated drawings showing exactly what is included in the measurements. The service provided is always to the highest standards as the works are carried out by Quantity Surveyors with over ten years experience. Areas covered include Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Civil and Landscaping.

-       All work is carried out by a Chartered QS/Cost Engineer with 15 years experience

-       The Client does not pay tax, holiday/sick pay, pension plan or any other company perks

-       The Client pays only for the hours worked

-       SBS are interested in their Client’s business and look forward to building a relationship with them whatever the quantity of required hours


RATES
Rates are dependent on the work involved and can be set at an hourly rate or an overall project fee.

Hourly Rate
A standard hourly rate, with a minimum of one hour per assignment, billed in increments of 30 minutes, with time rounded up to the nearest half of an hour.

Project Basis
For completed projects which may run over a longer time period, a fixed cost and timescale can be agreed.

Retainer Basis
Working on a retainer basis is for Clients who need regular dedicated support. Payment for each month is made in advance and any unused hours will be credited to the following month. Additional hours worked will be charged at the standard hourly rate.

Any additional expenses and materials, such as telephone charges, stationery, post, etc will be charged separately at cost price.
